Durga Saptashloki Stotra / दुर्गा सप्तश्लोकी स्तोत्र

Navaratri Festival is coming up soon. So have posted a stotra on Durga devi. Sapta means 7. So Durgaa Sapta Shloki Stotra has 7 verses in it.

here are the first few lines of the stotra.

शिव उवाच
देवी त्वं भक्त सुलभे सर्व कार्य विधायिनी |
कलौ ही कार्य सिद्ध्यर्थम उपायम ब्रूहि यत्नतः ||
देवी उवाच
शृणु देव प्रवक्ष्यामि कलौ सर्वेष्ट साधनं |
मया तवैव स्नेहेन प्यम्बा स्तुतिः प्रकाश्यते ||

Shiva uvacha
devi tvaM bhakta sulabhe sarvakArya vidhAyini |
kalau hi karya siddhyarthaM upAyaM bruhi yatntaH ||

devi uvacha
shruNu deva pravakshyAmi kalau sarveshta sAdhanam |
mayA tavaiva snehenA pyambA stutih prakashyate ||

Madhurashtakam / मधुराष्टकं

Madhurashtakam is composed by Shri Vallabhacharya. He was influenced by Madhwa philosophy. He started a Bhakti movement and evolved "Pushti Marga" where you constantly worship Lord Krishna. Madhuraashtaka also is a stotra on Krishna, here he describes everything associated with the lord as Madhura or Sweet. Ashta means 8, this stotra has 8 verses in it.
